Stay Cool, PEI: Preparing for Heat Waves Together

In a world where climate change is reshaping our environment, the rise in frequency and intensity of extreme heat events is undeniable. Recognizing the urgency of this issue, Scout, in collaboration with the Government of Prince Edward Island, designed, implemented, and managed the  "Stay Cool, PEO: Preparing for Heat Waves Together" program.

The main objective: to empower Islanders in navigating the health risks posed by extreme heat. In pursuit of this goal, we designed an engaging digital guide, fostering understanding and encouraging proactive measures.

Recognizing the diverse target audience and varying levels of technological accessibility, our program incorporated robust traditional marketing and community outreach efforts. This ensured that valuable information reached all segments of the population at risk, embodying our commitment to inclusivity and community well-being.
