Detect to Protect / Détecter pour protéger
2017 – Present
Carbon monoxide (CO) is an invisible, odourless and tasteless gas that comes from fuel-burning appliances, vehicle exhaust, and cigarette smoke. More than 300 CO-related deaths occur each year in Canada — all of which are preventable. That’s why Scout Environmental developed the Detect to Protect program: a public awareness campaign about CO, delivered in partnership with Canadian Tire and Kidde, that educates and engages Canadians on the health risks of carbon monoxide and provides simple steps we can take to protect our health and that of our loved ones.
