Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Study

2015

Electric vehicles (EVs) and their charging infrastructure are part of the changing transportation landscape across Canada. While EV drivers are able to easily charge their vehicles at home, what will they do when shopping, going to restaurants, or taking road trips and staying in hotels? Scout Environmental wanted to explore these questions with the retail and hospitality industries, looking to uncover interest in early adoption of EV infrastructure and better understand why a company may or may not be interested. This study was conducted in partnership with and support from the Retail Council of Canada, the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, and the Ontario Restaurant, Hotel and Motel Association.
