The Clean Air Commute (CAC) was an annual event managed and delivered by Scout on behalf of Pollution Probe in 2012 and 2013. CAC encouraged workplace commuters to choose more sustainable modes of transportation rather than driving to work alone. Its aim was to improve local air quality and reduce local traffic congestion, and in so doing, promote employee health and happiness. Through CAC, employees in participating workplaces were encouraged to walk, cycle, take public transit, carpool, or telecommute to and from work. Over the two years, over 30,000 employees participated in the program, preventing the release of 935 tonnes of pollutants.
